To promote Japan-US collaboration in the field of infrastructure, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT) will hold the 6th Japan Infrastructure Investment Forum in Detroit, Michigan, on February 8, 2024 in collaboration with the United States Department of Transportation and the State of Michigan.

This time, the theme of the forum is “The Future of Mobility: US-Japan Business Collaboration.” MLIT, the United States Department of Transportation, and the State of Michigan will present their policies, and Japanese and U.S. companies will discuss their efforts especially in the field of mobility. We will also have representatives from Japanese and U.S. infrastructure companies to showcase their technologies and projects during the reception.

This forum aims to promote further US-Japan collaboration in infrastructure, and we look forward to exploring potential areas for collaboration and serving as a place for networking with like-minded peers from the government, industry and academic.
